NexAir Home Services wants to help one lucky resident by donating and installing a new A/C system free of charge, with an estimated value of at least $10,000. Nominees can include anyone who believes they have the ugliest A/C unit in their neighborhood. Just fill out the form below and provide us a picture!

The contest is applicable for nominees residing in Cabell County West Virginia, Putnam County West Virginia, Kanawha County West Virginia, Mason County West Virginia and Lawrence County Ohio. The deadline to submit the nomination is Sunday, July 14th at 12:00 a.m. EDT. The winners will be announced by the end of the day July 31st.

Note: Nominees must be willing to participate in any media interviews or publicity activities associated with the contest and have accepted the terms of the contest as stated in the Official Rules. Finalists may be asked to provide proof of residency. As a material condition of and in consideration for entry and eligibility to win, Nominees must grant NexAir Home Services and/or its designated affiliate an irrevocable royalty free license to use, exploit and publish Nominees’ name, image, approved biographical information, and likeness in all media about the Giveaway and further agree to execute any and all documents reasonably requested by NexAir Home Services for purposes of lawfully establishing such license.

Official Rules:
NexAir Home Services “Show us your Ugly A/C Giveaway” promotion (“Contest”) is sponsored by NexAir Home Services LLC (“NexAir” or “Company”). This contest is governed by these official rules (“Official Rules”). By participating in the promotion, each entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements and understands that the results of the Contest, as determined by NexAir Home Services, in its sole and exclusive discretion, are final in all respects. The Contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

Eligibility:
The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States where not prohibited by law, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older and are permanently residing within the home in Cabell County West Virginia, Putnam County West Virginia, Kanawha County West Virginia, Mason County West Virginia and Lawrence County Ohio. In addition, eligible contestants must have internet access and a valid and verifiable e-mail account prior to the beginning of the Contest Period. NexAir Home Services has the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant, including requesting verification of residency, as well as visiting the nominee’s residence for a consultation regarding the unit installation. NexAir Home Services employees and their immediate families are not eligible to enter or win. Odds of winning are based on the number of entries.

Contest Period:
The Contest begins Sunday, June 8, at 12:00 a.m. EDT and ends Saturday, July 14, at 12:00 a.m. EDT.

How to Enter:
Contestants can enter the Contest through the NexAir Home Services website at nexairhomeservices.com/giveaway and are eligible to receive one (1) A/C system including standard installation and manufacturer warranties and free one-time installation from NexAir Home Services.

Submission Period:
Visit NexAir Home Services website and follow the instructions to submit a nomination that describes why the nominee should receive a free A/C system, as well as a photo of the nominee. The submission period is open from Sunday, June 8, at 12.01 a.m. EDT and ends Saturday, July 14, at 12:00 a.m. EDT. NexAir Home Services, in its sole and exclusive discretion, will determine the eligibility of each submission to determine the winner. Winners will be selected based on criteria including completion of nomination form which requires a photograph of the Nominee, a photograph of the A/C unit, proof of permanent residency in designated geographical areas, and availability to be interviewed by NexAir Home Services to determine condition and location of current HVAC unit. The winner will be selected by NexAir Home Services based on the criteria listed. There will be one Grand Prize winner selected within NexAir Home Services service area and the winner will be announced on the NexAir Home Services website/Facebook Page on or before the end of July 2024. NexAir Home Services reserves the right to extend, shorten, or terminate the Contest at their sole discretion.

Finalists are required to give NexAir Home Services ample opportunities and access to physically inspect the home HVAC unit, including internal and external systems, to determine if NexAir Home Services has the technical ability and legal authority to safely replace the unit without undue burden or cost exceeding $10,000. Finalists may be disqualified if their homes have poorly maintained or dangerous environments that could hinder proper and safe removal, installation, and performance of the new unit which include, but are not limited to, unsafe condition of the property or its inhabitants, including unrestricted pets, faulty electrical or gas systems, poorly maintained duct and systems work, and other technical issues.  If no finalists meet all the requirements, NexAir Home Services reserves the right to select a winner at the Company’s discretion.

Winner Selection & Prizes:
​For NexAir Home Services “Show us your ugly A/C” promotion, NexAir Home Services will award one (1) Grand Prize to one (1) winner living in our service area, which includes Putnam County WV, Kanawha County WV, Cabell County WV, Mason County WV, and Lawrence County OH. The A/C unit will be installed according to the availability of the winner(s) and NexAir Home Services after the conclusion of the contest at the end of July 2024. The winner is eligible to receive one (1) A/C system including standard installation and manufacturer warranties from NexAir Home Services. NexAir Home Services makes no representations or warranties, express or implied as to fitness for particular purpose, no service or duct work is included as part of the Grand prize.

Participants do not need to be present to win, and the winner will be contacted in person, via phone or email. In the event the winner cannot be reached and/or does not respond within a 48-hour period of time from the time of initial outreach, they forfeit the prize and another finalist shall be named a winner. In the event that no winners claim the grand prize pursuant to the NexAir Homes Services rules and regulations (including but not limited to any and all eligibility requirements), the grand prize will be donated to a nonprofit of NexAir Home Services choice.

Terms and conditions may apply. Incidental expenses and all other costs and expenses which are not specifically listed as part of a prize in these Official Rules and which may be associated with the award, acceptance, receipt and use of all or any portion of the awarded prize are solely the responsibility of the respective prize winner. Maintenance, repairs or installation of duct work, or anything else that’s not part of the initial installation is not included and subject to an additional fee. Additional expenses include, but are not limited to, repairs needed on the home’s gas/electrical system to update it to current requirements as listed by the state and federal government, expenses to replace eroded connection systems, damage occurred to poorly maintained connecting systems, expenses to repair damaged walls. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE IS SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.

ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS​ – Prize is non-transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted.

Indemnification and Limitation of Liability:
By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to indemnify, release and hold harmless NexAir Homes Services, the Facebook platform, administrator, advertising and promotional agencies, and all their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from any liability, damages, losses or injury resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from that entrant’s participation in the Contest, the rights of publicity associated therewith, and the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize that may be won. NexAir Homes Services disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from access to or the download of information or materials connected with the Contest.

​Taxes:
Subject to IRS and other tax reporting. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes related to the prize(s) and paying any expenses associated with any prize which are not specifically provided for in the official rules. Each winner must provide the Company with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number, in the manner provided and/or requested by the Company, before any prize will be awarded. Any person winning over $600 in prizes from the Company will receive an IRS Form 1099 after the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.

By participating, each entrant grants NexAir Home Services permission to use his/her name, likeness, business name or comments for publicity purposes without payment of additional consideration, except where prohibited by law.
